St. Fidelis Church-Cathedral of the Plains
Built in 1908-1911 of native limestone, it is 141 feet tall. At the time it was the largest church west of the Mississippi. William Jennings Bryon nicknamed this church the "Cathedral of the Plains" in 1912. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Tours available by appointment.
