A department of Fort Hays State University with one of the most significant Cretaceous Period fossil collections in North America. The main musuem exhibit features a recreated full scale diorama approximatley 88 million years ago when the mighty T-Rex roamed the land and Kansas was covered by water. See numerous fossels found in western Kansas, the giant sea swimming lizards, the famous fish-within-a-fish, and a children's discovery room.
