Weather - Our early October hunts can
be conducted in warm conditions with midday temperatures
in the upper 80s. December and January can bring wonderful
weather with highs in the 50's, but with the opportunity
for a blizzard! We recommend that you use available
weather forecasts
with the understanding that further out than 48 hours
they can be undependable. Layered clothing, gloves and.
appropriate headwear are advised in our climate.
* Dietary restrictions - With advance
notice we will try to accommodate any special needs.
Because of our remote location, supplies are not easily
obtained, especially in the evening and on weekends.

phone calls, please tell a staff member where you can
be located at the ranch so that we can forward your
calls to the correct extension. Only emergency calls

at 785-373-4835. Most cell phones do not work here at
the ranch. Collect calls are expensive so we suggest
bringing a calling card.
